Organic and homemade pesticides

Inorganic pesticides are harmful for human as well as plant and animals . Who wouldn’t like organic produce from their own farm or garden without having to worry about harmful pesticides and insecticides.

In your kitchen there are natural wonders from which you can produce organic pesticides it’s safe, inexpensive and effective.

1. Neem leaves:- medicinal herbs has bitter taste and strong odour ,it’s effective when spray on young plants, it’s non toxic for animals, birds,plants and humans.

  • Neem(azadirachta indica) extract or neem oil+liquid castile soap+warm water stir slowly,add into spray bottle use it immediately it’s effective up to 15 to 20 days.

Salt spray

  • Salt spray:- salt spray used for the effective absorption of nutrients like magnesium,phosphorus, sulphar spray with warm water every week it’s insect repellent.
  • Onion and garlic spray-: one clove of garlic + one onion+ one teaspoon cayenne pepper+1 tbs.chilli powder+liquid soap+ water its excellent pesticide for aphids, jassids ,thrips all type of insects pest
  • Eucalyptus oil-: repells bugs and insects due to strong odour spray some oil on plants regularly.
  • Chrysanthemum flower tea-: contains pyrethrum it’s strong chemical for insects pests damage nervous system of pest, boil two cup of water with 2 cup flower for 30 min. And strain it ,pour it into spray bottle or add some neem oil .
  • Castor oil + 2 tbs.vinegar+10 to 15 drops of lemongrass oil+ 10 drops of geranium oil this will repell insects and also discourage raccons and moles wondering about your farm
  • Tomato leaves-: tomato contains tomatoin which controls aphids, thrips ,2 cup of fresh tomato juice add it into liquid soap spray it immediately.

If you use homemade and natural pesticides ,organic vegetables and fruits are good for health.
